Connecting Employers to Veteran Talent
Business Requirement:
The requirement was to create a platform to help US-armed forced veterans with their job search. The client approached us with a need for a technology platform connecting Veterans and Employers for up to 6 Month Internship opportunities as well as fulltime job opportunities.
Our client is a startup with a military background who wants to help new/soon to be veterans in their job search with the goal to decrease veteran unemployment and underemployment by bringing employers and transitioning service members together.
Nuage Solution:
The solution developed by us involved creating a user interface for three kinds of users – Veterans, Employers, and back-office sharing a common UI.
We also developed a Mobile App and added over a period added additional features to the Web App. Additionally, we enhanced the back-office to also act as a custom CRM with roles and pathways for different types of users and interaction with Web App users.
Employer App
Our team designed the Employer UI to meet the requirements of corporates and small businesses seeking potential employees. To achieve this, we created an employer dashboard that includes job posting functionality. Our team also incorporated multiple matching criteria filter options to identify potential matches among the registered job seekers.
Job Seeker App
A user dashboard was created with the capability to search for jobs matching the user preferences and skills. This was, over a period of time, enhanced to provide richer data to the potential Job seekers including the ability to register interest in the posted job(s).
Back Office App
The Back Office App is available to all the employees of HM who must interact with job seekers and employers. It also provided tracking capability to the regional managers. It also provided for comprehensive user management including the ability to create and manage user roles.
It allows for Employers as well as Job seekers to be assigned to relationship managers to support job postings, matching, interview set-up and post interview tracking. It also allowed the specialists to view interest shown in jobs by Job seekers to review for potential match and to guide the veterans in the job hunt.
