Business Requirements

A major footwear brand needed an app that could be used for regular quality checks of its own as well as partner stores. The quality survey needed to be customizable as each store or region had its own goals and specifications. Also, the survey/audit needed to be multilingual as the stores are spread across multiple countries and regions.

By tailoring the quality survey to meet individual store requirements, the footwear brand aimed to ensure the satisfaction of its customers and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Nuage Solution

The solution developed by us involves a multi-platform application in which surveys are on, Mobile App, and survey management & reports are on a browser-based application. We design a Mobile App which is easy to use and provides mobility for the surveyor to survey both Owned and Partner stores.

The purpose of the Web App is to provide a one-stop to manage users, roles, stores, and survey versions, view surveys created, and track the performance of District Managers and stores at the country level.

We used the offline-first approach for the mobile app to ensure that connectivity is not an issue. The users work on the app in offline mode, and the data is synced with the main system and appropriate users receive notifications as per permission and rules set by the admin.

Furthermore, our platform places a significant emphasis on multilingual support. Both mobile and web apps support multiple languages, including survey questions, response options, and reports. The admin can add new languages to the platform without requiring any technical assistance.

One of the major challenges that we have addressed in this project is how to release the survey app in new countries without any intervention from the technical team. To resolve this issue, we have built fully customizable master configurations within the admin panel that can be easily set up by the administrator. Furthermore, since various individuals such as store managers, department managers, department users, back-office admins, and partners are involved in each quality survey, we developed a notification system to keep them informed by sending relevant notifications to the appropriate users.

The survey question response includes selecting one of the pre-defined responses, and adding supporting images, with the ability to mark on images, and comments.

Other actors in the system can add their comments and images as proof of rectification.
