Our client approached us with the need for an efficient inventory management system to handle their guest house, office, and canteen operations across multiple locations. They required a web application that could effectively manage incoming and outgoing services while emphasizing the importance of accurate inventory records.

To meet our client’s unique requirements, Nuage developed a comprehensive inventory management system that addressed their needs. Our solution streamlined the entire inventory management process, starting with requisition approval. Authorized personnel could raise requests for inventory items, which would then go through an approval process within the system.

One of the differentiating features of our solution was the creation of a rule-based approval matrix. We implemented location-based rules and conditions within the approval matrix, enabling different approval criteria based on specific locations. This ensured that inventory requests were directed to the right approver(s), resulting in improved efficiency and accuracy.

Our solution also included an extensive inventory item master that accommodated both consumable and reusable items with effective tracking and management across multiple locations.

The Rule based engine provides administrators with the flexibility and control to manage the inventory, approvers, payment modes effectively, evolving as the organization evolves and expands across locations.
