Streamlining Payroll Integration
Business Requirements
Our client, an Australia-based leading provider of ground support and geotechnical solutions, for mining, tunneling, and surface ground engineering projects, required seamless integration of their payroll, timesheet, and attendance systems. The aim was to create an integrated automated payroll process minimizing manual intervention and improving process productivity. A tangential goal was to improve employee satisfaction with the pay process.
Nuage Solution
Nuage designed a solution involving integration of the two applications: Cloud Payroll and Human Force. This integration allowed for the streamlined flow of information, encompassing general masters, employee masters, leave types and balances, pay elements, timesheets, and leave requests.
Nuage developed an automated transformation engine. The engine took data from the Cloud Payroll platform and transformed it into data that Human Force could understand. This included computation of the raw data. This eliminated the human computation that took time and had the potential of errors creeping in.
The integrated solution facilitated efficient timesheet and leave request management. Employees could easily submit their timesheets and leave requests through the system. The processed requests were promptly returned to the Cloud Payroll system for further processing.
This facilitated seamless information exchange, timely updates, and effective internal communication, ultimately leading to enhanced productivity and employee satisfaction.
